June 5, 2007 - Industry veteran Jim Ingram joins American Electric Technologies, Inc.
HOUSTON, June 5, 2007–American Electric Technologies, Inc. (AETI) announced today that Jim Ingram has joined the team as segment manager in charge of the pipeline, refinery and industrial market segments. AETI is the premium global supplier of custom-designed power delivery solutions to the traditional and alternative energy industries.

Ingram is a seasoned professional who has more than 40 years of experience in sales in the industrial, manufacturing and electrical services industries. Throughout his career, he has helped secure $200 million in new business for the companies he's served.
He joins AETI after spending six years as vice president of sales with Tesla Power & Automation LP, a manufacturer of pre-fabricated electrical equipment housing, building utilities and bus duct, where he was responsible for the highest sales revenue in the company's history.
Prior to working for Tesla, Ingram held multiple roles including vice president of sales and marketing from 1981 to 2000 at P-W Industries, a manufacturer of wire management support systems and pre-fabricated wiring products.
Ingram is a member of the Houston Electrical League, Houston Electrical Old Timers and is a former chairman of the Cable Tray Institute and former vice president of the Magnolia Chamber of Commerce.
