Data Center

The traditional brick and mortar data center market has been growing and evolving since the 1980s.  Many organizations throughout the world require a significant amount of computer storage to support their business.  In order to adequately manage the large volume of information technology (IT) that is required, data centers need large electrical power loads to operate.  To meet the power demand for large data center infrastructures, developers are forced to build their own electrical substations.  The cost involved to hire local utilities and transmission companies can be staggering and time consuming.  Many data centers can take up to (1) year to build and can cost upwards of $100M to construct.  To mitigate the rising cost of traditional data centers and to help reduce the carbon footprint, AETI is one of the first companies in the world to design and manufacture mobile data centers.

AETI and our subsidiary American Access Technology (AAT) have been involved in the data center market for several years.  We are capable of designing, manufacturing, and delivering the following products and services:
  • Powerhouse manufacturing
  • Mission critical low and medium voltage switchgear
  • AC and DC variable frequency drives
  • BMS automation to monitor and control cooling
  • International technical field services
  • UL rated floor boxes
  • IT server racks
  • Pre-packaged base kitting (KANBAN, JIT)
  • Advanced machinery and extensive capabilities (Lean)
With over (50) years of experience AETI has designed and manufactured over 1,000 internationally delivered powerhouses.  Utilizing the latest design technology that was developed by our in house engineering department we have built a mobile data center product with the following characteristics.
  • 1,800 watts per square foot power consumption
  • Building management system that cools IT equipment
  • Structurally enhanced to lift and support 111,000lbs
  • Green friendly to reduce power consumption
  • Units can be delivered domestically with a UL stamp
  • Units can be built to meet international CE compliance
  • Trained workforce that travels internationally to perform start-up and testing services
