 Industrial Outside Salesperson For The Greater Houston Area

American Electric Technologies, Inc., is seeking a high energy outside salesperson to champion the growth of our electrical power services & products divisions. 

Job Duties:

  • Outside industrial sales person to sell electrical power services and products 
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by developing rapport with key decision makers and end users
  • Maintain existing and develop new accounts
  • Willingness to learn the details of company’s product and service offering
  • Provide selling function as necessary including defining customer needs, work with operations to develop estimate, prepare commercial proposal, and present to customer
  • Provide necessary customer service including monitoring project while in progress and handling any issues after project completion
  • Develop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue goals that reflect an understanding of market conditions and trends.  Employ territory analysis and targeted sales and marketing research to identify top prospects
  • Perform sales reporting function in accordance to company policy 

Qualifications:

  • Highly motivated & ethical
  • Knowledge of industrial/petrochemical market in Houston area
  • Established contacts in industrial/petrochemical maintenance and projects departments preferred
  • Ability to work well unsupervised and in teams
  • Minimum 5 years electrical sales/marketing experience required
  • Proven track record of exceeding budgetary goals
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to successfully engage all levels of customer base

Compensation:

  • Base salary plus commission

Electrical Field Service Technicians - South Coast Electric Systems, LLC
Bay St Louis, MS

Job Duties:
 

  • Adhere to company’s safety policies & procedures. 
  • Repair, service & troubleshoot Marine Offshore Commercial Generator Control and Distribution Switchgear; 600V – 15KV, and Programmable Logic Controls & automation equipment. 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in electrical construction, wiring, maintenance, repair & troubleshooting
  • Proficient in Programmable logic controls & automation equipment
  • AC & DC drives experience a plus

High Voltage Services Technician
 
We are looking for highly motivated qualified Technicians who want to be a member of our Houston or Beaumont Power Services team. The number one priority of our industrial services team is safety – they are responsible for safely providing full electrical testing & repair, preventive maintenance, start-up/commissioning and in-shop services to industrial and power generation facilities in the Greater Houston and Beaumont areas and all throughout the Southeast Texas region.
 
Job Duties:

  •  Adhere to the company’s safety policies and procedures
  •  Interface with customers in a professional manner
  •  Perform and complete projects & assigned tasks effectively and efficiently
  •  Supervise and mentor other technicians
  •  Provide accurate test reports timely
  •  Identify opportunities to improve processes & promote the growth of the department

Job Requirements:
 

  •  Testing, evaluation & repair of low & medium voltage breakers & switchgear
  •  Testing, evaluation & repair of power distribution transformers
  •  Testing, evaluation & repair of oil circuit & gas breakers
  •  Testing & evaluation of motors and generators
  •  Testing & calibration of protective relays (electromechanical, solid state, & microprocessor)
  •  Perform troubleshooting & analysis of protection & control schemes
  •  Comprehension of electrical drawings & components
  •  Power systems studies
  •  Technical reporting
  •  Project management
  •  Required experience: minimum 2 year technical school degree with 5 years hands-on experience

 

AETI Houston Marketing/Sales Coordinator Intern

Requirements:

  • College degree in marketing or pursuing
  • Experience in business to business sales/marketing
  • Renewable industry exposure/knowledge a plus
  • International business experience a plus

Training:
 

  • Receives training in key AETI markets/applications (solar, wind, drilling, industrial, marine), products/services, and selling.

Marketing role:
 

  • Management of Guerilla marketing programs including web-seminars, road shows, etc.
  • Direct article writing/coordination with internal AETI personnel
  • Lead generation strategy plan creation and execution
  • Trade show coordination and planning, logistics, planning, booth attendance, etc.)
  • Collateral creation for each segment (solar, wind, industrial, drilling, marine, etc.)
  • PR coordination with external associates and internal AETI personnel
  • Marketing budget management (ads, etc.)
  • Search Engine Marketing and on-line banner ad program
  • Create customer-relationship management <-> email blast program
  • Assists in consolidation of AETI key selling messages for each market/application
  • Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, blog strategy and drive on-line presence

Sales support:
 

  • Sales coordinator – tracks sales calls, sales commissions, etc.
  • Inside sales support – responsible for vendor/supplier qualification submittal process for prospective customers and other inside sales activities as determined
  • Telemarketing – cold calls customers to set up meetings for sales team

Account ownership:
 

  • Owns some direct accounts as business development representative for AETI

Other/special projects:
 

  • Assist CFO and CEO in investor relations coordination
  • Stimulus grant proposal writing/coordination
  • Other projects as identified (AETI Branding, recruitment, other TBD.)
